Pulled Barbecue Pork

Pulled BQ Pork

 

3-3 1/2 lb. Port Roast
2-3 quarts filtered Water
Sea Salt, Pepper, and Garlic Powder to taste
1 medium-large sliced Onion
2-3 Bay Leaf’s

Place  pork roast in a stainless steel roaster. Add water and seasonings.  Slice onion on top of port roast and cover.   Put in oven at 350 degrees for 5-6 hours.  Remove roast from oven and place roast on plate to cool.  When pork is cool pull apart with hands and place in large pan on stove.  Add barbecue sauce on top of pulled port about 3-4 cups (or desired amount)  Simmer for 20-30 minutes.  Enjoy!

Note:  Drain the broth and save for pork and bean soup and add the onions into the pork and sauce recipe.
