Nutritional Suggestions For Optimal Health
- Drink half your body weight in ounces of (quality) water. Do not exceed 100 ounces of per day (Drink more when consuming diuretics or exercising)
- Reduce, with the goal of eliminating diuretics like coffee, pop, packaged fruit juices and alcohol
- Eat foods as close to nature or their original state, and use quality sources
- Consume grass fed pastured meats and bone broths
- Consume fermented and cultured foods
- Reduce, with the goal of eliminating refined carbohydrates and sugars
- Use only unrefined (Celtic or Himalayan) sea salts (NO table salt)
- Get a good mix of healthy fats:
Omega 3’s: fish oil, flax seed oil, walnut, and hemp
Omega 6’s: blackcurrant seed oil, evening primrose oil, sunflower oil and sesame oil
Omega 9’s: extra virgin olive oil, avocado and hazelnut
Saturated: butter, coconut oil, palm oil, lard, ghee, animal fats should come from grass-fed pastured animals - Do not use a microwave
